How it works
Simple is a feature. HabitRun does a few things, and does them well.
Pick your habits
Add habits to START, like drinking water or reading, and habits to STOP, like scrolling in bed.
Daily or ongoing
Daily habits close at 11:59 PM in your timezone. Ongoing habits are rules you live by.
One-tap check-in
Tap the circle to check-in and get on with your day.
Watch the streak grow
Current streak, best streak, total check-ins, days completed and days missed.
Optional
Commitments
Want extra motivation? Choose a $1, $2, $5, $10 or $25 commitment for each daily habit. Check in before 11:59 PM, and it costs you nothing. Miss the day and that habit's commitment is charged to your card.

Questions
- Is it really $1?
- Yes. One payment of $1 unlocks HabitRun for life. No subscription, no upsells, no ads.
- Do I have to use commitments?
- No. Commitments are optional and set per habit. HabitRun works perfectly well as a plain habit tracker.
- Where does commitment money go?
- It's charged by HabitRun. That's the point: a small, real cost that makes skipping less tempting.
- When does a day end?
- At 11:59 PM in your timezone. You can change your timezone any time in Settings.
- Can I change or remove a commitment?
- Any time. Raising, lowering or removing a commitment takes effect immediately, including for today.
- How do reminders work?
- Pick a time for any daily habit. If you haven't checked in by then, we'll send you an email.
