Sometimes it is not possible to fix a cable with standard fixing parts and mounting bases. Especially varnished surfaces are often a problem, when it is not possible to drill a hole, use an edge clip, to set a weld stud, or where methods are too time consuming and expensive. Or a problematic surface like low energy surfaces where a standard adhesive base does not work.
For those applications the new mounting base range was developed with special adhesive for special purposes. These bases have a very strong bond on painted surfaces. The adhesive tape is made of a acrylate mass with a good initial tack. With these properties it is also possible to use the tape on plastics with low surface energy. Three different sizes of mounting bases for cable ties are available.
